I have always enjoyed an active lifestyle. Growing up in England I ran cross country in high school, swam for a local team and rode my bicycle everywhere as a means of transportation!

I have been teaching group fitness classes since 1996 including spinning, kickboxing, step and aqua aerobics. I also participated in several charity century bike rides. In 2003 I signed up for my first season of Team in Training, to run the Disney marathon. It was love at first run! I loved the schedule.. the challenge.. but most of all I loved the amazing people I met. The coaches and the other partipants. I have stayed friends and training partners with many of them to this day! I have done several more seasons with TNT as a mentor and pace coach and bike coach for their tri program. I also coached with Determination for the 2013 Miami Marathon and have run as a pacer for several races with the Marathon Pacing team.

It was a natural progression for me to start doing triathlons. People often ask me if I prefer cycling or running and I like them both just about equally. I love the power and speed on my bike but running gives you a high that nothing else can. We won't talk too much about the swimming other than to say it is a work in progress!

Currently I have completed over 20 full marathons, 3 x 50K's and two 6 Hour timed Ultra, 8 half ironman events and numerous half marathon, olympic distance triathlons and charity bike rides. As of today, my goal is to get under 5 hours for the upcoming Miami Man half iron distance race! I would also like to improve my marathon time this winter. I still enjoy teaching regular classes at 24 Hour Fitness and have an ongoing goal of helping other people realize their goals in fitness and training.
